Season two finds new parents Ava and Nathan Bartlett three months into parenthood. Focused on taking care of her family, Ava is determined to resist her true crime obsession and return to work as a real estate agent while Nathan trains private tennis clients. But a series of new murders pulls her back in – is Matt behind the slayings? Is Tory, now entangled in a relationship with Matt, in danger? For a while, life is good -- Ava’s TikTok habit and her new friend Drew provide a welcome distraction, and Nathan’s all in on reigniting his tennis career as well as his friendship with Matt -- until danger comes knocking, literally. Ava feels isolated. She’s struggling with breastfeeding and can’t connect with the Wine & Crime gals after going off true crime cold turkey. Meanwhile, Nathan embraces his new identity as a private tennis coach. Both are relieved that Matt is secured away at a rehab in Mexico, until Tory puts herself in danger and Nathan must race to the rescue. 

Liquid Gold

Ava and Tory fight about Tory’s relationship with Matt, then strike a deal: Tory will go to law school if Ava makes new friends, something that doesn’t come easily for her. At the same time, Nathan agrees to help Matt stay “murder-sober” but Matt’s influence jeopardizes Nathan’s job with an important coaching client.

When a new murder is attributed to the Westside Ripper, Ava relapses into her true crime addiction. She’s convinced Matt is killing again and is determined to prove it, which creates conflict with Tory and threatens her new friendship with Drew. But Nathan believes Matt and once again lets Matt talk him into making a bold move, this time one that could jeopardize his marriage.

Ava and Nathan are withholding things from each other, which ends up frustrating them both. But when Ava’s murder investigation leads to a sex party, they work together to connect some key dots – while also connecting with each other. Meanwhile, Matt continues to pursue his own form of sobriety

Y'all Ready for This

Ava’s new TikTok account blows up in popularity. Emboldened, she tries to prevent the Copycat Killer’s next murder with Matt’s help. Meanwhile, Nathan tries to relive his past on the tennis court but can’t stop getting in his own way. And Ava’s friend Drew sticks her nose in Tory’s business, raising alarm bells.

Double Fault

Ava is determined to solve the mystery of Drew and Nathan is along for the ride. Matt faces a critical moment in his “murder sobriety” as he and Tory move forward with making the ultimate commitment to each other.

Ava takes charge after learning the truth about Drew. Nathan finally sees through Matt’s manipulations and calls him out. Matt sends a message to the Copycat Killer. Ava puts Murder Bunny to bed and reveals more than she intended. Tory goes rogue.

Ava and Nathan come face to face with the Copycat Killer. Matt and Tory navigate the fallout from a dangerous decision.
